They Grow Up So Fast sigh
Time for updates . . .
The weekend before last Johnnie had a birthday party to go to at Chuck E. Cheese. The kids love that place as much, if not more, than McDonald's.
Lacye's last soccer game was that Saturday and their soccer party was after that at one of the girl's parents house. They cooked out and swam in the pool and all received a soccer patch and a trophy. Lacye was very disappointed that soccer was over, but they will play again in the Fall.
The next Tuesday was the kid's final swimming lesson. They both are doing very well with their swimming. They're like a couple of fish!
Wednesday Jenny and I went into work late so that we could attend Lacye's award ceremony at school. She is such a smart girl! And Thursday was her last day as a first grader. We have a second grader in our household now!
This past weekend we went over to a friends house for a few hours and then we all went bowling. It was a lot of fun. Johnnie is a little pro-bowler if I've ever seen one. He almost beat Jenny!
Lacye had a birthday party / sleep-over on Sunday night. I was hesitant to agree to it, but it was her best friend and Jenny knows her mother fairly well. Lacye had a really good time, she could hardly wait to tell me all that they did, and how long they stayed up, etc. Before you know it, we'll be sending her off to college.
And That's What I Think.
