More Weekend Fun

This past weekend we had some friends come up.

Friday night we just sat around and talked and caught up with each other.

Saturday I got up and made waffles for everybody, then we played a few dvd games until it was time for Lacye's soccer game.

After the game we took them to our favorite Chinese restaurant *. Then we headed to Dallas. After unsuccessfully trying to lose them, LOL, which included erratic right turns, running a red light and a faked exit from the freeway, we made it to Reunion Tower. We had drinks in the lounge, which rotates 360-degrees in an hours time. What a view!

After the tower we went over to Dave & Busters for more drinks and games. We didn't get in until 1:00AM!

Sunday, after sleeping in, we went to the Water Gardens in Ft Worth. Featured in the 1976 film "Logan's Run", the Water Gardens consist of three architecturally designed pools. This is a really nice place to bring the family.

All in all we had a good visit with our friends.

* Restaurant Review - China King Super Buffet in Mansfield has the best Chinese food in a 20 mile radius. They have traditional Chinese food on four bars, American and Mexican on two bars, a sushi bar, a fruit bar and a dessert bar. If all this food isn't enough try the Mongolian grill, which is my favorite. Choose raw meat and vegetables and give it the cook where he'll grill it for you while you wait. About $10 each with bottomless beverages.
