Happenings

This past weekend we took the kids to the marina at the lake to feed the fish. We took a loaf of bread and all took turns throwing pieces of bread to them. It was hilarious to see all these fish swarmed around us with their mouths gaping wide hoping for a taste. When the fish would get under each other, the one on top would get above the water and start to freak out as it tried to get back below, splashing all the while. The kids thought this was the coolest thing! I forgot to take the camera, so we'll have to do that again soon.

Movies

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
This was a fun movie. Ben Stiller plays a night watchman at the museum of natural history. Little does he know that when the sun goes down, everything comes to life. His attempt to restore order creates the slapstick humor for this family friendly movie. An All-Star cast makes Night At The Museum a movie that will hold up for years to come.

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS
Will Smith plays a struggling salesman trying to do the best for his family. When he decides to change careers, his wife leaves him and he fights to keep his son with him. This movie is about family bonding and pursuing your dreams. I tried to resist seeing this movie, but found it to be very enjoyable. The Pursuit Of Happyness is a keeper.

FANTASTIC 4
Jessica Alba is reason enough to watch Fantastic 4. The special effects were well done. To my chagrin, the four scientists were not in harmony with one another, neither before the accident nor after. The banter between them brings a chuckle or two. In the end, as in all super hero movies, they save the world.

In other news, Lacye has one soccer game left and both kids have one more swim lesson. School is out next Thursday. Things are winding down.

That's all for now.

And That's What I Think.

Dude! I am way behind on your web page! okay... I really want to see the pics from these crazy fish. We don't have anything like that up here! Rob and I watched A Night at the Museum - VERY cute family flick, and The Pursuit of Happyness- which was great...but almost too hard to watch because we just felt so bad for the guy. hard work pays off though, and all that good stuff... We know a little something about hard work.
glad to see you guys are doing well- and I heard the new job is going GREAT! (Congrats!)
