Bin Laden's Niece Stars In Reality Show

I'm going to change things up a little on this one. Osama bin Laden's niece is set to star in a reality show on television. Her name is Wafah Dufour. She's 26 and probably only got this chance because of who her uncle is. Ironically, though, she wants to be separate from him.

I want to know what you think about this. Read the article and then post your thoughts on this. Here are some ideas:

1. Is it fair to give her a show based on what family she comes from?
2. Is it disrespectful to victim's families of 9/11 to air this show in America?
3. If this is the land of the free, should we not question her family name and give her a chance?

I, of course, have my opinion, and I'll post it after I see what everyone else thinks. I'm just throwing you a rope to see what everyone else thinks about this. Post anonymously if you wish.

Waiting To See What You Think.

WAR . . . WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR ?!?

Today is the third anniversary of our invasion into Iraq. What have we accomplished thus far? Let's see:

1. The President succeeded in making himself look like a self serving douche bag by convincing the public that the invasion was necessary due to Saddam Hussein's ties to terroristic activities and his build up of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Neither was proven.

2. He has succeeded in sending some 2,300 young men and women to their deaths due to this unwarranted war.

3. Congress has estimated that by the "end" of said war it will have cost the U.S. tax payers over $500 BILLION dollars.

4. G.W. can now brag to his friends that he did something his daddy didn't do.

Iraq has become a proving ground and base of operations for many different terrorist groups. They view this as their opportunity to perform a jihad against a superpower on their own soil. Iraqis in general are tiring of our occupation of their country. Yet, your president continues to say, with resolve, that we will "win" this war and bring democracy to the middle east and they will be better for it.

In certain cases you have to realize that some people don't want help. We are fighting a losing battle over their with no clear concept or strategy of just how to "win" this war and save face. In fact, we have turned their country upside down and mixed around so that they are now in a civil war. One that we helped to create. Saddam Hussein, as bad and immoral as he was, was the only person to keep Iraq from this turmoil and keep Iran in it's place. We succeeded in chopping the head off and now each part of the body is fighting for control.

Roadside bombings, ambushes, etc., have become so common place that they are rarely even reported by the media any longer. We cannot become numb to the situation. Don't let the president brain wash you with his speeches of victory on the horizon. We need to contact our local representatives and YELL for them to create an exit strategy and end this war. As we start the forth year of this conflict it's time to make waves and get some action from congress.

And That's What I Think.

American Idol

Well, I've decided to change things up a little bit. I'll still be political here but I will be adding my views on the entertainment as well.

I've just watched this weeks male performance and will now give you my prediction for the top four. One of these four people will be your next American Idol. (Drum roll)

Listed in no particular order:
1. Paris Bennett
2. Mandisa
3. Chris Daughtry
4. Taylor Hicks or Ace Young (I feel that Taylor will be there, however, Ace will get a lot of teen girl votes)

I know that these are the people that deserve to be there based on vocals and performance, but as we have seen in the past - song choice is everything and America has a short memory.

Of course my favorite is Kelly Pickler, she's such a doll. Vocally, however, she's just not there. :(

Tonight they pick the final twelve. Any bets that Chris goes all the way?

KMAN OUT!

Bush Caught With His Pants Down . . . . . . . . AGAIN!

Throughout the aftermath of hurricane Katrina which hit the gulf coast on August 29, 2005 we have heard many things as to why the response to Louisiana was so slow. Some have said it was because the governor didn't ask for help from FEMA until it was too late. Others have blamed the White House for their slow response. With the media sending out mixed messages, depending on what network you chose to listen to, it is impossible to know what to believe. Listen true, fellow readers, Bush knew of the impending break of the levees protecting the city of New Orleans and also knew that the Superdome was not storm worthy of a Cat. 5 hurricane! He was told on Aug 28 of the severity of this storm and did nothing about it.

This is but another case in point that our esteemed White House Super Power does not know what to do if there is no one telling him what to do, say or think. He, instead, chooses to sit back and let it play out. This slow thinking way of doing things is why he has failed at business. Now it may be to no fault of his own, it could be that all the drugs and alcohol has killed off too many of his brain cells . . . . Wait a minute, that is his fault, too.

Now, I've tried to stand behind our President in the past, but with each passing day it becomes harder and harder. If the man couldn't run a successful business on his own, what makes you people think that he can run a country? (You people meaning those that voted him into office.)

Before you jump the gun on me, let me tell you that annalists have predicted that it will take 4 to 6 years for the nation to recover financially from this administration, so don't go blaming the next guy that is voted in when our economy doesn't bounce right back.

And That's What I Think.
