I'm Just Saying . . .

So I've got a lot to catch up on.

Baseball

The Rangers had another disappointing season. They were doing really good until the All-Star break, then it seems like they just gave up. We went to several games this year, and all the ones we went to, they won. They fired the head coach because of the major loss. Now we'll have to see if they keep the major players we have or trade them in lieu of pitchers and future stars, which seems to be their norm. The important thing to look at is that we finished ahead of the Seattle Mariners who were 15 games out of first place.

Air Show

The weekend before last we went to the air show at Alliance Airport with some friends. It was pretty fun but I think the air show we usually go to at Carswell JRB is better. I can't say why and the turn out was larger at Alliance. The kids seem to have had fun.

Chuck E. Cheese

We celebrated Johnnie's birthday at his favorite place this past weekend. I wasn't sure about the turn out, but he had four of his friends from school show up. He had a lot of fun. It's neat to watch him interact with his friends.


Kid Fest 2006

After the birthday party, we went to Kid Fest. It was to teach kids the importance of exercise and eating right. They had rock climbing, fencing, hop scotch, hoola-hoop, yoga, salsa dancing, jump roping, you name it. The kids had lots of fun, the only draw back was that it was only open for three hours. Hopefully next year they'll have it all day. Then Saturday night we're watching the news and see both of the kids on TV! How cool is that!? We saw the camera man there, but didn't think that he got any of us on film.


Well, I think you are up to date. Work sucks, maybe a change is due.
